GatewayToMilwaukee.com Has A New Look / But the biggest change is in the approach, not the appearance.
Leading the charge to increase awareness for the area around the airport, The Gateway To Milwaukee commissioned Savage Solutions to create their competedly revised website, www.gatewaytomilwaukee.com.
In addition to refining the design, the website’s capabilities have also been expanded. The ambition is to help website visitors quickly and easily make sense of The Gateway and its offerings while giving them a wider view of everything that the area has to offer.
This new site has a combination of different views, simpler and intuitive navigation, and improved use of technology.
“We are committed to being a vital resource for visitors and businesses in The Gateway” said Tom Rave, Executive Director of The Gateway To Milwaukee. “Reforming our website is a key part of that commitment and we couldn’t be happier with the work that Savage Solutions has done.”
Some of the key features of the new site include the ability to:
• View expanded listings of restaurants, hotels and other hospitality in the area
• View and register for events online
• Comment directly on news and stories
• Participate in discussion forums
• Communicate with The Gateway board and members
• Access polls regarding issues in The Gateway
• Advertise your business or event via banner advertising
The improvement to the website comes in addition to a range of other initiatives being taken to inform, be more open and engage in dialogue with the community. Those include reporting minutes of Board meetings, a frequently updated blog, immediate email alerts for breaking news, factsheets on topics on interest, plus the normal Weekly E-News Updates.
“All these features will help us to be more informative and active with the Gateway’s various stakeholders… Our goal is to have ongoing improvements,” stated Tom Rave.
“We couldn’t be happier with the end result of this new tool. In the first six month’s of being up, the website had an average increase of users per month of 60%! That’s what we strive for,“ stated Cory Savage, President and CEO of Savage Solutions.
